About Us
Where We Meet
We meet at Crismon Elementary School, 825 W. Medina Ave., Mesa, from 6:45 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesdays during the school year. See our calendar for alternate meeting locations when the school is not available.
We are a Trained Quality Unit
Troop 565 is an annual recipient of the BSA Journey to Excellence (Quality Unit) Award. All unit leaders have completed BSA Youth Protection and position-specific training.
What We Do – We Are Scouts!
We have (sc)outings every month, and each summer attend in-state and/or out-of-state camps, including the BSA High Adventure Camps.
Our monthly outings include a variety of hiking, camping, backpacking, cooking, climbing, boating, swimming, water & snow sports, and of course, service to our communities.
Our annual calendar is planned by our Scouts, led by the Patrol Leaders Council.
Our Charter
Our troop has been chartered to St. Timothy Catholic Church since 1991. We are in the Lost Dutchman District, of the BSA Grand Canyon Council.

We welcome boys from St. Timothy Catholic Church, as well as boys of all faiths and from the neighborhoods around St. Timothy. If your son is in grades 5-12 (ages 10 1/2 – 17) and would like to join Troop 565, Contact us.
