As of August 1, 2024, BSA has changed its registration process. Youth and adult leader’s registration date is no longer prorated to a designated date. Instead, the date you register online at beascout.org is your registration date. It will renew on that date. You will receive an email 60 days before your renewal date with a link to renew your registration. The BSA membership fee is $85.00 for youth and $65.00 for adult leaders. The youth fee for Grand Canyon Council is $50.00. All fees are collected at the time of registration on the BSA website. For those who wish to register/renew offline, there is an additional $25.00 service fee.

BSA requires that a Scout be registered and entered into their computer system in order to earn and track awards and rank advancement. Scouts who have not completed the registration process will not be able to receive awards or rank advancement.

In addition to the BSA and GCC fees, the Troop charges a $60.00 annual dues fee to assist with program cost including awards and administrative costs.  The fee is collected by October 1 of each year.  This fee can be covered from the youth’s Scout account if money is available.
